Another school project that tested my blending fortitude, a dead sea. Besides the play on words, there are thirteen photos melded together to make this project. I spent the most time molding the sand and mountains as if they were one entity. The picture is divided into four sections left to right; or vise-versa. Skull, obelisk, plane and ruins. The color, sky and sun are all fake, created in photoshop. The hue of the sand is a different color of the original and I tried to make the picture seem warm/hot.
